The earnings a person can make just starting out in writing is generally low, around $32,000.00 a year. This may increase depending on the position you have in writing, and as growth is like any normal job, your position will most likely advance the longer you work there. The most common salary is aroun $45,000.00 a year for experienced writers.The outlook for 5-10 years is good as more and more writing jobs will be needed. This will hopefully mean better benefits and salaries for writers. This will me more competition for these jobs so you may need to be ready to fight for one.
