Training Any job that you ever want to try out for requires some degree of education, unless you want to be a burger flipper of course. All writing jobs require that you at the least have a high school diploma. You should try to get a degree in a writing related college major. As it can help you obtain a job easier then without it. It is a good idea to try and intern for jobs that will give you hands-on experience in this field.

You can start taking some high school classes now to prepare you for this field. Good classes to try and take are American Literature, English, Reading classes, and any other writing related classes your school offers. College courses are the ones that can prepare you the most for any field of work. A good major is that of creative writing, it can show you many new skills that you might not of known about. Other majors to consider are journalism, communications, english, and technical.
